Take on a New Mind in christ

I hope everyone is in the best of Gods care and enjoying this Christmas season. We're getting lots of snow in my area, I hope all of you are driving safe and staying warm. 

    I wanted to end the year with a message of encouragement. It is important to Grasp the Mind of Christ. We love sayings old things are passed away and I'm a new person in Jesus now, but have you really taken on the mind of Christ. When you have God on the inside of you, you should have thoughts on above and not believe. There is no more backwards thinking!  In 2 Corinthians 5:17 it says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." Put on the mind of Christ! You are victorious! You are more than a Conqueror! You are gifted! God loves you! You can make a change in the world! You were destined for greatness! Renew your mind...

         How is life in your part of the world, wherever you may live? I have a few songs I have on my playlist I was listening to and I thought of all of you. What better music is there than music that glorifies God?

The Good Shepherd

Happy Monday Faith walkers,

 There has been a heat wave, that is sweeping our nation, and I am loving this hot weather. It is important to hydrate, and to step inside, to cool down. Don't stay out in the sun too long.

  I was reading the tenth chapter of John,  verses 11-18 captured my attention most. I wanted to share with you these verses, and I hope it will revive something in your spirit and speak to you, to cause change in your life. Before I go any further, I want to remind you that it is imperative to your life's existence to read your Bible daily. Yes, I see it as a life or death matter. It is impossible to survive as a believer, without the word of God. So read it, crack you Bible open, click that app on your device, and read your Bible.

   John 10:11-18
¹¹ “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. ¹² But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. ¹³ The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. ¹⁴ I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. ¹⁵ As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. ¹⁶ And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
¹⁷ “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. ¹⁸ No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
    

     These eight verses speak volumes. Jesus is speaking, and He says He is the good shepherd. I thought to myself, Are we willing to be herded by Jesus? Do you want Him to continue to guide you? Stay under the guidance of the good shepherd, because a hireling ("verse 12" someone who does not own the sheep, and is not a shepherd), will allow the wolf to devour you. Satan seeks to devour you, and Jesus as he says in verse 17-18, willingly sacrificed His Life for His sheep. He is foreshadowing His death, in these verses, and is trying to get His point across, that He deeply cares for you and loves you. Jesus laid down His life for us. How do you honor this sacrifice Jesus made for you? Do you honor him be obeying His commandments? Jesus loves the world so much He goes on to explain, that He even died for the sheep that were not of His fold (verse 16). Then he says, all of those who serve Him are of the same fold. There is one body in Jesus Christ.
    Wow! Isn't  it good to know we are not in this walk alone, in life. The main point, I hope you take from this scripture is that Jesus wants to be the shepherd over your life, not because He wants to control you, He freely offered His life for you. He wants to shape you and make you new, and He wants you to have Joy, Peace, Hope and experience love and life everlasting in Him.

Spread Peace today! Show Love in everything you do! And let the Joy of the Lord spring forth out of your soul in knowing that you are shepherded by Jesus Christ the "Good Shepherd".

Where is the Peace........

            How is your summer going thus far? As of today we are in the 2nd week of July. I hope everyone had a great July 4th whether it was spent with family at a cookout or relaxing at home. As you know Blessed Beyond Belief Magazine July issue is now posted online! As you spend your evenings relaxing, read great literature like Blessed Beyond Belief Magazine June Issue. Blessed BeYond Belief Magazine publishes my article monthly with so many other soul enriching articles from everyday Christians like you and me who are striving to perfection in Jesus (Hebrews 6:1-6).

This months article is titled: "Where is the Peace?" It questions your day-to-day interaction with people and how we should walk in Peace daily.

 It is FINISHED! The semester is finally over for me and I know most of you are wrapping up your spring semester's as well, and if your in primary or secondary school you have a few weeks left (but this message is for you too). To ALL GRADUATES OF 2013 (((CONGRATS))). Keep Up the Great Work!

        WHEW! I'm glad it's over. Thank You Jesus! I don't know about the rest of you but I feel like  singing songs of exuberant joy for conquering one more feat in my excursion to success and walking across that platform. I hope as you close one more chapter in your life you will also be exceedingly glad about the great things God has in store for you. We can shout together GLORY! Victory is ours! So finish the Spring in style and leap into Summer with both feet. Enjoy yourself and have fun, you've earned it! ;) 

    It would be out of character for me to tell all of this and not uplift you to stay Holy in the midst of your efforts to live it up this summer, with the wind in your hair. What is the next step God has for you? If one door closed what is the next door that will be opened? What is the next thing God wants for you to do in this season? Well, do not look to me for the answer to these questions. Ask our Father for yourself and you'll be shocked by what He says. It's great to enjoy the summer, but if you are not helping someone else to get to know God in the process, you are living in vain. 

    Here's something else to drop in your lap, if life ended for you today, "What kind of Legacy would you be leaving behind?" This question isn't just for you, but me as well. We have to cause change in the world together. I know this a lot to take in, but I'll be back soon.

        I have been having a blessed week thus far, I hope peace is dwelling in your homes and hearts as well. I need all of you who read this to mark your calendars and be ready for "It Can Wait" you will be informed and encouraged, with the thriving conversation that will take place Friday, March 22. I am a proud member of MTN... Outreach Street Ministry (follow us on FB: MTN. Outreach) and our Youth Ministry has the Proud Virgin Movement (@pvunity). Our very own Minister Emanuel will be hosting a 3- part series on Abstinence, Faith, & Purity. It will be Live streamed via Youtube and I am excited. I mean I have decided to devote an entire blog about this event, because it is dear to me. As a 20 year old virgin, in today's society, I understand the need for this type of forum to continue to help one another, so we might all grow in God and stay true to purity. Why is it the one thing you we're born with, that can never be replaced, people think you should so easily give it away? Virginity is a gift from God the father and don't let anybody tell you that Waiting until marriage is over rated. The life of a believer is for the strong and those who are committed to God and enduring until the end. You don't want to miss it!

It's Here.... Women's History Month

Super Women.....

        March is Women's History Month! And if you didn't know, Now You Know.
      As a young lady, in my early 20's, I am deeply appreciative of all the women in History that were apart of the Woman's suffrage, and the fight for Women equality. My message to all of you is to become a lady of Grace, who walks with God. You don't have to be loud, boisterous, attention seekers. Women today are known for having lot's of attitude, being devious, dressing provocatively, deceitful, promiscuous, back-stabbers, and gossipers.  There was a time where being a "Lady" held significance. People respected a lady, and viewed her with the highest regard. Well, that is how you should want people to see you, especially as a woman of faith. God requires that of us. I implore you to be a woman of God and honor the women of yester-years.

I would like to honor my mom Elder L. Osborne for Women's History Month. She has single handedly reared my siblings and I to serve God, and live respectably.
 My mom is a woman of fierce strength... she is a Super Woman.

We are in the middle of one of my favorite times of the year, FEBRUARY! No it's not because of Valentine's Day :(, but I love Black History Month!!

How do you celebrate Black History Month? Do you look up a new inventor or civil rights activist? What do you read? Where do you go? We are living in the footsteps of Rosa Parks, the dream of Dr. King, Justice Thurgood Marshall and Malcolm X. Don't take for granted the opportunities that are now at our fingetips becasue of the blood, sweat, tears and beatings of our ancestors. We are living out their dreams. Don't deface thier hopes by representing our culture in negative light, show the world that we as a people are beautiful, talented, gifted, and a strong people. Standing on the backs of the people who paved the way!

Are U Lame?

       What do you think is lame? What is a lame Christian? Are you lame? I know your wondering where am I going with this.... well I just watched this vid by Minister E. Osborne (@min_Ezoz) titled "Are U Lame?" and it gives insight into Spiritual paralysis. After watching this video I'm sure you will want to stay cinnected with Min. Osborne. He posts thought provoking tweets for the young body of believers and he is an anointed Minister equipped to change lives, also the founder of the Proud Virgin Movement (@pvunity), which you can read all about here: www.pvmovement.co.nr
 
Spiritual paralysis can slip in to your life and you can be spiritually paralyzed and not even know it. Continue to read your Bible, pray everyday, and walk uprightly!
I don't want to see you limping.... stand strong in the Lord and walk in His way and you will always walk "upright".

It was a Mistake

Happy Monday Faithwalkers, I have found in life that mistakes happen when we choose not to heed to instructions given previously, causing a chain reaction that we did not expect. I wrote an entire article about mistakes and how when we choose to follow the leading of God we can learn to not make mistakes that will displease the father.
